On the cover it shows Lindsay Lohan looking slutty with a bottle of alcohol in hand, Nicole Richie puking (not sure it's poking fun at her eating disorder or because she is pregnant), Paris Hilton...in a weird position, and Britney Spears with a cigarette in hand while holding one of her kids.

Lindsay Lohan reached a plea deal Thursday (August 23) on misdemeanor DUI and drug charges that will find her spending 1 day in jail, serving 10 days of community service and completing a drug-treatment program, according to The Associated Press. She will not stand trial.

Through her lawyer, Lindsey pleaded no contest to 2 counts of driving under the influence, two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine), and reckless driving. All the charges are misdemeanors — a lucky for Lohan, as felony charges could have landed her in jail for more than a year.

Lohan was placed on 36 months probation and will be required to complete an 18 month alcohol education program and pay hundreds of dollars in fines. She must also finish a 3 day county coroner program that will require her to visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunken drivers.

"It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs," Lohan wrote in a statement released. "Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to charges in my case.

"No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself," the statement continues. "I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have. I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so."

Lohan's cocaine charges stem from a small packet of cocaine police discovered in her jeans when she was arrested on July 24 in Santa Monica, California. According to prosecutors, the amount of cocaine found tested below the .05 grams required to qualify for a felony filing. After a May 26 crash — in which Lindsay is alleged to have lost control of her Mercedes and crashed into a tree on Sunset Boulevard at 5:26 a.m. — tests on a substance found in the actresses purse came up as .04 grams of cocaine powder, according to a press release on the charges from the DA's office.

During her second arrest — for allegedly chasing another car driven by the mother of a former assistant — officers found a container on Lohan that tested positive for .02 grams of cocaine, according to the DA office press release. Lindsay reportedly claimed the substance was not hers.

Lohan is currently at the Cirque Lodge treatment center in Sundance, Utah, where she has been ordered to stay indefinitely.

Lindsay Lohan will spend less than 24 hours in jail. She can enter the jail late at night (before midnight), and leave early the next morning, as that counds as a "day."

Lindsay Lohan’s attorneys met with the LA County Deputy District Attorney today for an hour to enter the please. The District Attorney says that Lindsay Lohan did not receive special consideration as a celebrity.

Lindsay Lohan’s former bodyguard is spilling the beans on Lindsay Lohan’s crazy beahvior and wild partying!

The former bodyguard has claimed he witnessed the actress snorting line after line of cocaine and that she started getting into self harm activities as she got more out of control.

Lee Weaver, who has previously guarded the likes of Brad Pitt, Pamela Anderson, Eddie Murphy and Robert Downey Jr., told the News of the World: “I have looked after some of the wildest stars in Hollywood - but never anyone as out of control as Lindsay is.”

“She had a total death wish and took more drugs and drank more than anyone I’ve met. I lost count of the times I thought she was overdosing and had to carry her out of parties. Every morning I’d breathe a sigh of relief she was still alive.”

Weaver recalled his first night working for rehab bound Lindsay. It was the first of many wild parties: “She’d been snorting all night. She got on the coffee table and danced, flinging her dress above her head, her eyes rolling about all over the place.”

“I told the guy providing the drugs to stop and he just said, ‘No way, Lindsay will go berserk’. Then she started screaming at people and swinging her fists around at anyone near her.”

“At the start of the night she seemed such a fun-loving, angelic girl but under the influence of drugs she was psychotic. It was 10:30am the next day by the time I carried her to bed.”

He added that Lindsay wasn’t the only star to behave in such a way: “Nobody was as wild as Lindsay. But [Nicole Richie] came close. Sometimes Paris Hilton would be there but the most I saw her do was drink and strip.”

“One night Lindsay and Nicole were making trip after trip to the bathroom - she wouldn’t snort in front of me because she knew I’d get mad. But the more wasted they got the less she cared. In the end they carried in a mirror from the bedroom, laid it on the coffee table and emptied a mountain of coke onto it. They went at the stuff with straws, hoovering it all up then piling more on.”

“I tried to tell Lindsay to stop but she just told me it was cool. After ten hours I’d had enough and threatened to throw the mirror out of the window. I had to carry her out to the car.”

Over the last few months - leading up to her DUI arrest and admittance to rehab last month - Weaver claims she spiralled further out of control including physically attacking a drug dealer she claimed had sold her short and slashing at her own wrists in a moment of depression: “One night I looked at her hands and wrists and noticed they had bright red wounds all over them. She tried to tell me she had fallen but when I looked her in the eyes and demanded to know the truth she just broke down.”

“She told me, ‘I don’t belong on this planet any more’. She said she cut herself because she did not think life was worth living.”

“I’d never even heard of her when I was asked to do the job. She was only 18 but guarding her was a nightmare and the stress it put me under was unbearable.”

“I would pray every night she wouldn’t kill herself on my watch.”

“I desperately hope she stops doing drugs but I fear that will only happen when either she kills someone else with her reckless ways - or kills herself.”

In Touch Weekly is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is on her way back into rehab!

After her wild weekend in which Lindsay was busted for DUI and crashed her car, she’s seeking treatment.

“She finally realizes it’s the right thing to do,” a close friend of the 20-year-old actress tells In Touch exclusively. “She is going willingly.”

Lindsay is due to check into Promises in Malibu this afternoon (LA-time) In Touch has learned. That is the facility that Britney Spears entered after shaving her head.

Last night, May 28, 2007 insiders at teddy's nightclub say Lindsay was partying as hard as ever at a 944 Magazine party and kept insisting she didn’t care about the consequences of her arrest when cocaine was discovered in her wrecked Mercedes convertible.

Lindsay was seen falling to her knees while bending over to pick up her cigarettes.



A bodyguard picked Lindsay up and placed her in the front passenger seat of a car being driven by her friend, disc jockey Samantha Ronson. Photogs snapped Lindsay passed out drunk while Samantha tried to wake her.

This will be Lindsay’s second spell in rehab this year. She completed a 30-day course in the Wonderland rehab facility in Los Angeles on February 16.

The video published by the website shows Lindsay leaving the five-star Mondrian Hotel on Sunset Strip, where the actress tried to book a room for the night. After being told no rooms were available, Lindsay and her crew went back to Lindsay's apartment where a fight apparently broke out and Lindsay's friend, DJ Samantha Ronson, stormed out with Lindsay following after her. Once Lindsay convinced Samantha to get in the car, Lindsay sped off west down Sunset Boulevard and lost control of her car, crashing over a sidewalk into trees.

Lindsay gets out of her car and tries to run to safety at a nearby house, trying to get away from the paparazzi. In the video you can hear Lindsy Lohan say "Stop It!" basically telling the paparazzi to leave her alone and she sounds scared. Sound like she also said, someone hit her car.

Lindsay started the night at Les Deux nightclub in her black GMC SUV, driven by her bodyguard Jaz around midnight. Around 3 am, Lindsay heads to a private house party and then onto Skybar around 4 am.

5:00 am rolls around and Lindsay Lohan decides to call it a night, heading back to her condo, driven by Jaz, to pick up her own car, the black Mercedes SL 65 convertible.

5:15, Lindsay crashes her car over a curb on Sunset Boulevard, just a few blocks from her house. 10 minutes later, Lindsay heads for the hospital with minor injuries related to the crash. 5 minutes after that Beverly Hills Police get a call about the accident and Lindsay is issued a citation.

Lindsay Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday after her convertible struck a curb, and investigators found what they believe is cocaine at the scene, police said.

Lindsay Lohan, 20, and two other people were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen said. It appeared Lohan was speeding, Lt. Mitch McCann said at an afternoon news conference.

Officers at the scene found a "usable amount" of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, McCann said. He declined to say where the drug was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it.

Lohan, who spent time at a rehabilitation center earlier this year, was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, McCann said. The two other people in her car were not hurt.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and arrested Lohan at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, McCann said.

She was released from custody because she was admitted to the hospital, police said.

Lohan will have to appear in court to answer the citation, first reported by X17.
